"Old Flame" is a short film written, directed and produced by Anuj Viswanathan, made for the Flagstaff International Film Festival (FIFF) - State 48 Hour Film Challenge 2025.
Written, shot and directed in 2 days, "Old Flame" won 'Best Sound' at the screening premiere of FIFF 2025.
“Departure” is a surreal horror short that follows an artist that suffers from a creative block, who finds himself in a surreal nightmare that feels too real to get out of.
Going through hell might be his way out of it.

Hello. I am Anuj Viswanathan, a US-born Indian, who was raised in Chennai, India and is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
I am a poet, artist, filmmaker & storyteller who loves to create and tell stories.
I love to ponder about everything under the sun and I find art to be the perfect way to express what I feel and perceive.
The process of incepting a story and giving it life, and making art with good, genuine, kind and talented people is always a rewarding experience for me.
